I'm an artist who works primarily in oils and charcoal. I have a Associates Degree in Art and Design and am currently double majoring in Painting and Graphic Design at Tyler School of Art. I've also taken courses at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where I hope to complete my Masters degree.
I like to focus on strong light and shadow in my work while using brush strokes to create texture. I paint by laying down patches of color, similar to what the impressionists have done in the past. I always start off very loose and then begin to tighten up as I continue. The end result is a painterly representation of my subject and I love to paint just about any subject! I also take requests for commissions and custom portraiture.
